Reservation Criteria

As per the Right To Education (RTE) Act, 25% of seats are reserved at the entry level for Class I. This ensures inclusive education for children from disadvantaged groups and weaker sections.

Eligibility Criteria

Disadvantaged Group

Children belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), or disabled children (including severe disabilities).

Weaker Section

Children whose parents' or guardians' annual income is below the poverty line (BPL) as specified by the State Govt.

Distance

The child should be residing within 3 kms of the school.

Original for verification + one photocopy.

Issued by SDO (Revenue) or Deputy Collector in the name of the child or parent.
